The BBB Foundation of Metro New York announced the launch of its free online consumer resource website – BBBYou.org – where consumers can report scams, keep up with relevant marketplace news, and get video tips to help them be savvy consumers.

“We’re excited to announce the launch of BBBYou.org, and hope that consumers will take advantage of the many resources it offers,” said Claire Rosenzweig, President & CEO of Metro NY BBB Foundation and NY Metro BBB. “BBBYou.org is full of resources consumers can use in their everyday lives.”

The BBBYou.org web page makes it easy to get quick access to popular free BBB services. Consumers can check a BBB report on a business or charity; post or read a customer review about a business; file a complaint and ask BBB to resolve a marketplace problem, and get tips on fraud prevention.

Visitors will also have access to BBB’s new Scam Tracker tool, which features an interactive map that allows consumers to discover and report scams that are happening in their area.

BBBYou.org is designed to be engaging, and social media friendly. Visitors are encouraged to share its content on social media, and if they have suggestions for ways BBBYou.org can be better, to share them with Metro NY BBB Foundation on Twitter or Facebook.

For breaking consumer news, and the full-scope of BBB programs and services, consumers can visit newyork.bbb.org.
